Happy Friday people!

Finally, I am here posting my thoughts about this fascinating book.

You can find THE SURROGATE LIES on Amazon.

A dysfunctional writer, a hyperbole consultant, a Bollywood smitten driver and an over the top mysterious foreign man. They are strangers on an adventure and strange is their adventure. Their escapades are as serendipitous as life on earth yet their lives are as normal as a morning tea. Still, you will laugh, cry, sympathize with them en route to their and your redemption from the mundane life. Read as they dodge the bullets of their fear, their insecurities, and their failures. They are waiting for you to board the rusted and trusted 4*4 and enjoy the smooth roller coaster. So all aboard? Get started and turn the first page of this special journey of this nondescript motley of strangers.

So, when you get into a reading slump and you need something to uplift your mood, this is the kinda book you might pick up. The book starts with four different people, rather I’ll say different characters: an author, a consultant, a driver who is a big Bollywood fan and a stranger. Should I say fortunately or unfortunately, these people met on their adventurous trip to Gir Forest. Now, the story starts taking shape from there. What exactly starts to stir up when they come together at one point, you will discover it while you slowly start picking up the pace of the book.

When I saw the title THE SURROGATE LIES, I was really intrigued. Also, the cover is really well designed. I found the book has a very convenient writing style, more like easy going, in a way focusing on the current generation which becomes a plus point. The characters have surely been portrayed well. Usually, I don’t find books with, you can say a good sense of humor, this one I would say did pick that pointer and showcased it in a very simple manner, best part being, it did not feel forced. If you pick this book and just simply read the blurb, you will anyhow get interested because of the way it has been written, crisp and to the point. Very intelligently narrated and the climax makes the story worthwhile.

So yes, in terms of recommending THE SURROGATE LIES, to students, young professionals, travelers, and basically anyone!
